Ruby In Steel’s Simple, Straightforward License
If you wish to install the software onto more than one computer, you may do so. If a second person wishes to use the software, however, then you need to buy a second license. For the full terms, including all the legal jargon, please download the License document PDF.
Upgrades, are straightforward too: buy any version 1.x of the software and you will be have access to free updates to all other 1.x versions of the edition which you have purchased.
Ruby In Steel Developer 1.5 will be the final release of the 1.x product line and is expected to ship Q2/2008. Please see the RoadMap for guidance to the features planned for forthcoming versions. No version beyond 1.5 has yet been announced. When a future release is announced, registered users of Ruby In Steel Developer will be offered a reduced-cost upgrade path.
Ruby In Steel Text Edition 1.1.5 is feature complete. We do not plan any major additions to the 1.x product. However, we may update the software with minor additions or bug fixes. Registered users are entitled to all such free updates.
