Since its first release in June, 2006, The Little Book Of Ruby has been downloaded from this site more than 37,000 times. That’s not counting downloads from other sites, the translation into Brazilian Portuguese, Pequeno Livro do Ruby or the Brazilian Wiki which is based on the book.

I have just updated the Little Book. There are no huge changes, but I’ve taken the opportunity to correct a few typos, make some minor additions, reformat the text and update the source code archive to be compatible with Ruby In Steel for Visual Studio 2008. You don’t actually need Ruby In Steel to use the code, incidentally. However, if you have Ruby In Steel, you have the extra benefit of being able to load all ten chapters’ worth of sample programs as one single solution.
Anyway, as always The Little Book Of Ruby and all the source code is free. So, if you haven’t already got a copy, why not head over to the Download Page?
